Challenge Course Practitioner Level 1 is entry level of training and certification that is alignment with the Training Standards and Practitioner Certification Standards as outlined by the ACCT Standards (ANSI/ACCT 03-2016). Certification is issued by Elevation Aerial Design and Consulting Inc., upon successfully passing both written and practical testing.

The Level 1 training assumes you have no prior challenge course program delivery experience. The content of this training will encompass the Staff Competencies as listed in current ACCT Operation Standards (ANSI/ACCT 03-2016) including core, technical, and facilitation competencies. Upon successful completion of this 5 day – 40 hour training/testing Challenge Course Practitioners Level 1 can apply competencies to routine, familiar program delivery situations under supervision and with support from more experienced and knowledgeable staff.

Minimum age to participate in this training is 17 year. Minimum age to undergo testing (written and practical) to receive Level 1 Certification is 18 years.

The Challenge Course Practitioner Level 2 training builds on participant's previously developed skills and knowledge gained through challenge course program experience and training. Training is in alignment with the Training Standards and Practitioner Certification Standards as outlined by the ACCT Standards (ANSI/ACCT 03-2016). Certification will be issued by Elevation Aerial Design and Consulting Inc., upon successfully passing both written and practical testing in addition to providing a personal portfolio showing 200 documented hours of program experience in a challenge course environment.

The content of this training will encompass the Staff Competencies as listed in current ACCT Operation Standards including core, technical, and facilitation competencies. Upon successful completion of this 5 day – 40 hour training/testing a Challenge Course Practitioner Level II shall have knowledge and skills to solve most non-routine situations and provide leadership to less experienced and less knowledgeable staff.

Minimum age to participate in this training is 18 years. Participants must have completed a Level 1 Challenge Course training or equivalent.
